I having trouble with pasting an image from the clipboard onto another image.

The following are the steps taken:
1. Upload image1.
3. Select: Edit => Copy to clipboard
4. Upload image2
5. Select: Edit => Paste from clipboard
(Image1 appears over image2. I move image1 around and adjust it before applying it).
6. Select Apply Pasted Image.
It seems after step 6 is where the error occurs because only image1 is pasted, image2 has disappeared completely.

Please advise if I am following the steps incorrectly.

That seems like the right directions. I just did that exactly as you described, and it worked for me.

How big and what type of images are they?

If you email me a copy of the exact pics, I can try them out.

I've just discovered that you can only paste a non-animated image from the clipboard onto another image(animated).

I was able to paste my image from the clipboard only after I removed the animation.

Why can't I paste an animated image from the clipboard onto another animated image?

"Why can't I paste an animated image from the clipboard onto another animated image?"

Well, it's just hard to do, especially if they don't have the same number of frames.

Currently, paste doesn't support pasting of animated images on top of other animated images.
