Hi All,

I'm testing out a new feature on Lunapic.. It's called Liquid Resizing.

It lets you resize a picture with out distorting your main subjects (it'll instead just distort the "background")

It's pretty neat, but, adding these feature requires a big update to the editor. Please help us test it out before it's rolled out to everyone.

To use our new beta feature, you will have to exit your browser, then go directly to http://www90.lunapic.com/editor/
(you will see the message "Thank you for testing our new features" at the top center of the edit window)

For example: Original Image

Normal resized image:

NEW liquid resizing ( Edit -> Resize Image .. checked "Keep Primary Subjects Unscaled")

NEW liquid resizing, expanding the image (here, it adds more background)

Here is another example of this feature (also called "seam carving")

That's so cool! I always resize mine wrong so they look either stretched or squished, this should help a ton if it's added.

I'm rolling this out to some users. Please report if you're having any new problems with the site. I've been tracking a few bugs.

Did you get rid of the transparency option for text? When I open the window thing to change the color, the transparency dropdown thing isn't there. :?

Yeah That was one thing that broke with the upgrade. I'll try to restore it as soon as I fix the other problems.
