the winking/blinking thingis easier on GIMP! all u need to do is save ur pic and select it on gimp. go to layers and press duplicate. then go to the paint brush & paint over the eye(s). go to the last thing at the top where it says FILTER! go down to ANIMATION and click on it! if u press play it'll show what it looks like when blinking/winking. after that then save!!!!! UR DONE!!!!!! Here's a pic i made on gimp using my http://www.imvu.com avatar!!!! 1 is a picture of me and 1 is a picture i made for 1 of my friends!!!!!!! the 2nd 1 is me!

4. Upload both the original and wink image as an animation.
(click here to add more files for an animation)

5. For my animation, I sped up the winking frame by using "frame timing"
Animation -> Frame Timing
I used 100 and 20 for the two frames. You can change this if you want for a faster wink /blink
