I started with a black and white drawing/coloring page of a carnation, hoping to "color spot" the flower red; :) color spotting does NOT work :!:

1-go to the siccores on the left hand side and click theme
2-highlight around one part (the stem for example)
3-go over to "color tint" and click it
4-type in the color you want
5-press add color tint.
