When I put two transparent pictures together to form an animation, the old picture is shown behind the new picture...is there a way to get it to not do that?

I see the problem oh why it did that well I noticed something when I upload one picture and it's gif format with another picture with a gif format it will come out all over each other try saving both images into jpg format then upload them that should work right that's wrong right there....I don't know why gif formats don't work right when uploading I even tried to upload in photo bucket and still got one image over the other then finally figured it out it's always better to work out with a jpg format that stay better quality for your animations.. and if you want the background to have a transparent background just save them as png format...
