how do you make backgronds blurry but not you?

when you have clicked on the lunapic logo on top of this page and once you have gotten your picture loaded just go to the cutting tool and trace around the part that you don't want be blurred then once you are through tracing click on copy and paste image then when you go to the next page don't worry about pasting the image just go to adjust and click on blur then once you get through with that go to edit and click on paste image from the clipboard then place the image that you traced in the same spot you got it from that should do it...

Here is an exampe how I did this picture I used vignette then I used the cutting tool and traced the part in the middle of the picture which I drew a heart which you can't even tell that I copy and paste as a heart
and it worked fine for me hope this helps you out..
